Graphic Designer II

The role involves creating digital and print promotional materials, logos, and website designs to support the College of Education's outreach and instructional efforts. Responsibilities also include event photography and providing design leadership to student and OPS designers.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging graphic materials for marketing the College of Education across digital and print channels
• Develop templates, logos, iconography, social media graphics, presentations, and printed collateral within branding guidelines
• Design print materials for promotional events, ensuring CMYK accuracy and ADA compliance
• Collaborate with videography, communications, and instructional design teams to deliver completed assets
• Provide leadership and feedback to junior designers, assigning work and maintaining design standards
• Research best practices, emerging design technologies, and trends to inform project planning
• Photograph college events and produce edited images for promotional use
• Maintain design guidelines and ensure consistency across all college materials

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field or a bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, XD)
• Experience creating dynamic graphics for print and web
• Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility standards
• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, layout, and typography
