The role involves designing residential buildings using BIM methodology with a focus on industrialization and wood as the primary material. The manager will coordinate with collaborators, clients, and administrations while implementing sustainability and energy efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop BIM models for residential building projects with a high degree of componentization and DFMA
- Collaborate with structural, MEP and other engineering disciplines, clients, authorities and contractors
- Support the implementation of sustainability, energy efficiency and health standards throughout projects
- Assist in obtaining building permits and managing administrative processes
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure cost‑effective design solutions
- Participate in construction follow‑up and site direction as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience drafting projects
- Proficient in Revit for project design
- Knowledge of current Spanish residential building regulations
- Experience with construction licensing and administrative procedures
- Ability to work with a functionality‑and‑cost focus
- Teamwork skills and client interaction experience
- Technical knowledge of traditional and emerging industrialized construction systems
- Willingness to specialize in industrialization and sustainability
- Negotiation‑level English is a plus
- Familiarity with VPO, BTS and BTR is a plus
- Experience in site monitoring and direction
- Knowledge of passive design, energy efficiency and healthy construction is a plus
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with Agile tools (Trello, Scrum) is a plus
