Lead Product Designer

The Lead Product Designer will own the end-to-end design of the iOS app, including the design system, visual identity, and user flows. They will work closely with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and present design decisions to the founders.
Responsibilities
- Own endâtoâend product design for the iOS app, from onboarding to repeated use
- Define and maintain the design system covering color, typography, spacing and components
- Collaborate closely with engineering, reviewing builds and ensuring highâquality handoffs
- Own visual brand system and ensure consistency across all product and marketing surfaces
- Present and defend design decisions to founders and iterate based on feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience shipping consumer mobile products with real usage
- Built or owned a design system with documented rules
- Strong opinionated design sense and ability to defend decisions under critique
- Handsâon execution mindset, preferring to ship work personally
- Willingness to work inâperson in Old Montreal
