Design covers and internal layouts for photo books, journals, and stationery while creating cohesive editorial systems. Coordinate with printing professionals to prepare accurate, print-ready artwork and production files.
Responsibilities
- Design covers and internal layouts for photo books, journals, notebooks and stationery
- Create clear, visually cohesive editorial and publishing systems
- Work confidently with typography, grids, image placement and page composition
- Prepare accurate, print‑ready artwork and production files
- Develop prototypes and test prints
- Coordinate with the team and printing professionals during production
- Maintain consistency across multiple books and product categories
- Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback and manage multiple design batches
Requirements
- Based in Bangalore and able to start on 1 October 2026
- Work from the office near Richmond Road at least two days per week
- Full‑time availability for the contract period
- Strong portfolio showcasing publishing, editorial or print‑design work
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good understanding of typography, grids, pagination and print production
- Ability to collaborate within fast‑moving timelines
- Experience designing photo books, journals, notebooks or similar products is preferred
