UI/UX Designer

The role involves transforming complex laboratory workflows into intuitive user interfaces for mobile and web platforms. Key duties include managing the design system, creating high-fidelity prototypes, and collaborating with developers for accurate implementation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and create wireframes and interactive prototypes for complex laboratory workflows
• Design pixel‑perfect high‑fidelity UI for iOS, Android and web platforms, ensuring accessibility and consistency
• Maintain and evolve Labquity’s design system and component library
• Prepare detailed Figma specifications and assets for hand‑off to React Native developers
• Create clickable prototypes, run usability tests and iterate designs based on feedback
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure accurate implementation

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional UI/UX or product design experience, especially for iOS and Android mobile apps
• Proficiency with Figma, including component creation, auto‑layout and interactive prototyping
• Strong portfolio demonstrating wireframes, high‑fidelity UI and design process
• Experience designing dashboards, complex data entry screens or enterprise software
• Ability to work independently in a remote, agile environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
