The Graphic Designer will create print and digital marketing materials to support university enrollment, fundraising, and brand awareness. They will also manage content for digital properties and assist with event photography and videography.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design projects from concept through completion
- Produce drafts, prototypes, and engaging design solutions
- Maintain and update graphics on Dordt's digital properties (dordt.edu, cace.org)
- Design print‑ready promotional materials for programs and campaigns
- Create and update displays and signage for in‑person events
- Assist with event photography and videography as needed
- Collaborate with the Teaching for Transformation team on training materials
- Listen to feedback and continuously improve design quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in art or graphic design
- Fluency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign
- Understanding of design theory, layout, and typography
- Ability to apply design theory in a commercial context
- Commitment to the Reformed perspective and mission of Dordt University
- Adherence to university brand standards
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
