Design Manager, Footwear Sportstyle - H/F

The Design Manager will define and lead the Sportstyle design strategy while ensuring creative coherence across all footwear collections. They are responsible for managing and developing a design team split between Annecy and Paris while overseeing the entire creative process from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the design strategy for the Sportstyle area
- Create a clear, inspiring and differentiating design vision
- Maintain creative coherence and brand expression across footwear projects
- Translate business needs and market insights into structured design directions
- Collaborate with offer managers, 3D and CMF teams, and lead design validation sessions
- Guide teams on 2D/3D concepts, colour proposals and artistic direction
- Encourage adoption of modern tools such as AI and digital workflows
- Plan resources, budgets and designer allocation
- Mentor and develop the design team in Paris and Annecy
- Travel to factories and key markets as needed
Requirements
- Bac+5 in Design (preferred)
- 10 years of footwear product design and development experience
- Proven experience managing creative teams across sites
- Strong sense of urban aesthetics, sportâlifestyle and sneaker culture
- Fluent English and proficiency with Office and design software
