Design Manager, Footwear Sportstyle - W/M

The Design Manager defines and leads the creative strategy for the Sportstyle footwear perimeter while managing a design team across Paris and Annecy. They are responsible for ensuring artistic consistency, driving the creative process, and fostering innovation through modern digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the design strategy for the Sportstyle perimeter
• Build a clear, inspiring and differentiating design vision
• Ensure creative coherence and brand expression across all footwear projects
• Translate business needs and market insights into structured design directions
• Collaborate with offer managers, 3D and CMF teams, and oversee design validation sessions
• Guide teams on 2D/3D concepts, colour proposals and artistic direction
• Promote modern tools such as AI and digital workflows
• Manage resources, planning, budgeting and designer allocation
• Mentor and develop the design team across Paris and Annecy
• Travel to manufacturing sites and key markets as required

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Design (Bac +5) preferred
• 10 years of professional footwear product design experience
• Proven ability to lead and mentor creative teams across sites
• Strong understanding of urban aesthetics, sport‑lifestyle, and sneaker culture
• Fluent English and proficiency with Microsoft Office and 2D/3D design software
