Senior UI- / UX-Designer (m/w/d)

The role involves building and maintaining a cross-product design system and establishing consistent UI/UX patterns for a medical software portfolio. You will conduct user research and usability testing to translate complex radiology workflows into intuitive digital interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Build and continuously evolve a productâwide design system with components, tokens and guidelines
- Define and embed design principles and interaction patterns across RIS, image viewers and portals
- Plan and conduct user research, interviews and usability tests in radiology settings
- Synthesize research findings into concrete design decisions and actionable insights
- Create interactive prototypes and validate concepts early with users
- Collaborate with Product Management and Development throughout discovery and delivery
- Advise product teams on UX/UI matters and enable them to use the design system effectively
- Consider accessibility, regulatory requirements (IECâŻ62366) and technical feasibility
Requirements
- Degree in Interaction Design, UX/HCI, Interface, Media or Communication Design or equivalent
- Several years of UX/Product Design experience, preferably with design systems
- Experience building component libraries, design tokens, pattern libraries and guidelines
- Familiarity with Storybook or similar component frameworks
- Strong user research and usability testing skills
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools
- Ability to translate complex medical workflows into intuitive interfaces
- Good English proficiency
