Product Designer (Contract)

The designer will transform complex B2B workflows and customer feedback into intuitive user flows and implementation-ready screens. They will collaborate with the technical co-founder and engineers to refine AI-driven quoting and pricing features.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design of core surfaces such as security workflows, dashboards, and AI‑assisted experiences
• Turn requirements, customer feedback, and conversations into clear user flows and concrete designs
• Identify missing requirements, edge cases, and trade‑offs before engineering begins
• Produce implementation‑ready screens, prototypes, and concise interaction notes
• Work closely with engineers through implementation and refine designs based on feedback
• Establish reusable design patterns to improve consistency
• Lead design discussions and explain feature goals without needing constant founder direction

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience with complex, workflow‑heavy B2B software
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX judgment and handling of information‑dense interfaces
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear user flows and designs
• Proficiency in modern prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate design work
• Experience with AI products or early‑stage startups is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
