The Graphic Designer creates visual communications for the Division of Student Affairs, focusing on Wellness programs and priority initiatives. Responsibilities include developing audience-focused solutions for print and digital assets while ensuring adherence to university brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop visual solutions for wellness programs, sports, fitness, outdoor adventure, and student wellness
- Create campaigns, posters, flyers, brochures, reports, presentations, environmental graphics, digital signage, social media assets, web graphics, email graphics, and other print/digital materials
- Collaborate with Student Affairs communicators, program leaders, and other creatives from concept through completion
- Ensure communications are coordinated, accessible, visually compelling, and follow OSU brand standards
- Manage multiple design projects, priorities, and deadlines
- Mentor or supervise student designers where applicable
- Apply photographic, photo‑editing, or motion‑graphics skills as needed
Requirements
- High School/GED (or Bachelor’s degree with experience)
- 2‑4 years of graphic design experience depending on level
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat
- Strong grasp of design, layout, typography, and production for print and digital
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Commitment to brand consistency, accessibility, and attention to detail
