Electrical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

The electrical engineer will design data center electrical systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce construction document sets. They are responsible for defining equipment specifications, reviewing submittals, and supporting the project lifecycle from site selection through commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Create dataâcenter electrical designs and construction document sets
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet quality and budget goals
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, municipal codes and building regulations
- Review and approve equipment submittals
- Define project scope and provide technical support during construction
- Support commissioning teams in testing and validation of electrical systems
- Manage concurrent projects across multiple regions
- Travel to sites for reviews, surveys, and engineering evaluations
Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in missionâcritical facilities
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with dataâcenter electrical design and code compliance
- Preferred: Professional Engineer license
