Snr. Constructability Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

The role involves embedding into new-product programs to identify and resolve constructability and commissioning risks during design maturation. You will also develop and validate new construction methods like prefabrication and modularization to convert field-proven innovations into fleet-wide standards.

Responsibilities

• Embed in first‑of‑a‑kind programs to identify constructability risks
• Run validation, vendor qualification, and deployment‑readiness assessments
• Develop and quantify new construction methods for schedule, cost, quality, and carbon impact
• Convert field‑proven innovations into fleet‑wide standards
• Partner with product owners, construction managers, and manufacturers
• Support basis‑of‑design intake and specification updates

Requirements

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission‑critical facilities
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Professional Engineering or Architectural License (preferred)
• Experience with modular construction, prefabrication, and DfMA
