UX Designer

The role involves designing and building scalable e-commerce solutions from research and prototyping to live implementation in the codebase or SiteSpect. You will translate business goals into UX priorities, maintain the design system, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Translate business objectives into UX priorities and justify design decisions
- Investigate customer friction points and design endâtoâend solutions from sketch to prototype
- Build the designs yourself in SiteSpect or codebase
- Validate designs with users and iterate after launch
- Document proven solutions in the design system for crossâshop reuse
- Lead stakeholders from category management to executives through design rationale
- Prioritize quality, performance, accessibility and brand consistency across markets
- Automate repetitive design tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as UXâdesigner, product designer or interaction designer, preferably in highâtraffic eâcommerce
- Portfolio showing problemâtoâsolution workflow
- Strong theoretical background (behavioral psychology, cognitive load, IA, double diamond, Jobs to be Done)
- Knowledge of choice overload, attention bias, anchoring, loss aversion, Hickâs law, Gestalt, Nielsen heuristics
- Experience launching UX initiatives and aligning them with business goals
- Expertise in Figma, component and token workflows, design systems
- Ability to code in HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Conduct user research, usability testing and interpret results
- Stakeholder communication and persuasion skills
- Experience with AI tools and measurable outcomes
- Fluent in Dutch or English
