Lead the end-to-end industrial and UX design for new product categories, from initial concept and research to final production. Collaborate with R&D and Operations to ensure design feasibility and alignment with brand strategy for consumer electronics.
Responsibilities
- Redefine and embed new product and UX designs across emerging categories
- Lead industrial design activities, creating compelling design archetypes and quality standards
- Translate consumer insights and trend research into device, accessory and UI/UX concepts
- Produce design deliverables including concepts, appearance models, prototypes, CMF and verification artifacts
- Manage end‑to‑end design outputs from concept through production, ensuring manufacturability and business effectiveness
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations and external agencies to maintain design excellence
- Build and mentor multi‑disciplinary design teams, fostering a design‑centric mindset
- Oversee design quality, timelines and alignment with brand strategy
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design with at least 8 years of experience in consumer electronics and design management. Must possess a strong portfolio and proficiency in 2D/3D design tools like Solidworks and Adobe.
