The role involves translating aesthetic concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications for luxury lighting, furniture, and accessories. The designer will collaborate with production departments and suppliers to ensure feasibility, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Create technical drawings, detailed specifications and renderings for lighting, furniture and accessories
- Translate aesthetic concepts into executable manufacturing documentation
- Collaborate with production departments and suppliers to ensure feasibility and luxuryâbrand quality
- Maintain and update technical documentation, tolerance checks and compliance with safety regulations
- Continuously improve existing products by proposing innovative materials, finishes and lighting technologies
- Support the full product lifecycle from initial idea through to final realization
Requirements
- Strong technical design skills with ability to produce 2D/3D CAD drawings, schematics and renderings for lighting and furniture products
- Knowledge of pattern making, fitting and garment construction for textileâbased components
- Understanding of architectural context and spatial integration
- Technical or design education (diploma or degree in product design, industrial design, architecture or equivalent)
- Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software and prototyping tools
- Attention to detail, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage deadlines
