UI/UX Designer
Vates Virtualization Management Stack (xcp-ng / Xen Orchestra) đ Remote
The role involves designing intuitive user interfaces, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for Vates products. The designer will collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate complex technical requirements into clear user experiences through user research and usability testing.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and userâfriendly interfaces for Vates products
- Conduct user research, create personas, journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Translate complex technical requirements into clear UI solutions
- Partner with product and engineering teams throughout the development cycle
- Run usability studies and incorporate feedback into design iterations
- Maintain and evolve the company design system and UI guidelines
- Ensure accessibility, consistency, and usability across all product touchpoints
- Stay upâtoâdate with UI/UX trends, methodologies, and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of UI/UX or product design experience
- Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of UX research, usability testing, and accessibility
- Experience designing complex web applications and responsive interfaces
- Knowledge of design systems, responsive design, and design principles
- Ability to collaborate with developers and understand technical constraints
- Experience working in Agile or productâfocused environments
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in UX/UI Design or related field
- Fluent in English and French
