The UI Designer will create graphical interfaces for mobile apps and web, working closely with UX Designers, Product Owners, and Developers. Responsibilities include developing components within the Design System and ensuring accessibility and responsive standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver the visual layer of native mobile app interfaces using the existing design system components
- Apply responsive design principles and adhere to iOS and Android UI standards
- Ensure accessibility considerations are integrated into designs
- Contribute to and expand the design system using atomic design concepts
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Owners and Developers in agile sprints
- Provide design critiques and mentor junior designers
- Stay upâtoâdate with design trends, tools and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a UI Designer, specifically on native mobile applications
- Strong creative and innovative mindset with continuous market and design trend awareness
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD and InVision
- Expertise in responsive design and mobile UI standards (iOS and Android)
- Understanding of accessibility principles
- Knowledge of atomic design methodology
- Experience enriching and working with design systems
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
- Ability to communicate and work agile with UX Designers, UI Designers and Developers
- Capability to challenge design decisions and propose improvements
