UI/UX Designer
Vates Virtualization Management Stack (xcp-ng / Xen Orchestra) đ Remote
Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for Vates products by creating user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex technical requirements into clear user experiences and maintain the design system.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and userâfriendly interfaces for VATES products
- Understand user needs, behaviors and friction points to propose improvements
- Create user journeys, wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes
- Translate complex technical requirements into clear user experiences
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the development cycle
- Conduct user studies and usability tests to validate design decisions
- Gather and integrate feedback from users and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of VATES design system and UI guidelines
- Ensure consistency, accessibility and usability across the product ecosystem
- Identify and propose enhancements for existing interfaces and user flows
- Stay informed on UI/UX trends, methodologies and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer
- Strong knowledge of UX and UI design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping
- Experience designing complex web applications and user interfaces
- Good understanding of user research and usability testing
- Knowledge of design systems, responsive design and accessibility standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and understand technical constraints
- Experience working in an Agile or productâfocused environment
- Familiarity with virtualization concepts is highly recommended
- Awareness of openâsource products and technologies is a plus
- Fluent in English and French
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, HumanâComputer Interaction or related field
