Innovation Engineer, WW AMZL Innovation and Design Engineering

Lead the end-to-end development of mechatronic products and automation technologies for Amazon Logistics Delivery Stations. This includes managing the lifecycle from ideation and conceptual design to testing and on-site implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead endâtoâend equipment technology development from ideation through onâsite implementation
- Write requirements, functional specifications, verification plans, and test procedures
- Collect field feedback and propose enhancements
- Influence technical and business decisions using dataâdriven analysis
- Define project timelines, manage budget, and report progress
- Partner with simulation teams to validate concepts and optimize workflows
- Drive scalability strategy with engineering, vendors, supply chain, and corporate development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years developing and validating mechatronic products
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD
- Program or project management experience
- Fluent English communication
- Understanding of mechanical design best practices and configuration management
