Senior Product Designer, Platform Design

You will lead the design of core LUX components, own the Figma library architecture, and drive token strategy in collaboration with platform engineers. Additionally, you will manage component documentation, ensure accessibility compliance, and mentor designers on systems craft.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of core LUX components including anatomy, variants, states, behavior, and accessibility
- Own and maintain the LUX Figma libraries, semantic tokens, and autoâlayout configurations
- Drive token strategy with UX Platform engineers to align design and code
- Review built components in Storybook against specifications and close designâdev gaps
- Write and maintain component documentation in zeroheight
- Manage contribution and governance process for design system updates
- Mentor designers through critiques and set system craft standards
Requirements
- 5â8 years of product design experience with handsâon design system work
- Expert-level Figma skills including component architecture, variants, variables, and token management
- Experience reviewing components in Storybook and authoring documentation in zeroheight
- Strong understanding of design tokens and token pipelines
- Ability to collaborate with engineers on component APIs and framework constraints
- Excellent written communication for system documentation and governance rationale
