Sr. Design Technologist , eShop Content Services

Lead the development and training of Generative AI-powered tools and foundational models for design and creative production. Architect production-grade GenAI platforms and define the technical roadmap for AI-driven content generation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead foundational model training, fine‑tuning and evaluation for design‑specific visual tasks
• Architect and develop custom GenAI tools, APIs and platforms for creative teams
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for AI‑powered content generation
• Build end‑to‑end inference and training pipelines on cloud‑based ML platforms
• Lead research and R&D to assess emerging models and techniques for production
• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, model evaluation and data curation
• Mentor junior design technologists and raise technical standards
• Collaborate with applied scientists, product managers and creative leadership to align AI capabilities with business goals

Requirements

• Experience with ML/LLM fundamentals and model training/inference lifecycles
• Programming experience in Java, C++ or C# with OOP design
• Experience building production software applications and distributed systems
• 6+ years front‑end technologist, engineer or UX prototyper experience
• Hands‑on experience with AI inference and training platforms (e.g., SageMaker, Hugging Face)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
