Staff Product Designer

The Staff Product Designer will create intuitive experiences for students, instructors, and coaches across native and web applications. They will also be responsible for owning and maturing the company's design system and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex product challenges.

Responsibilities

• Define opportunities and appropriate methodologies based on problem shape, including prioritization, research, JTBD writing, and user flow mapping
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑quality designs for native and web applications
• Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to guide design decisions with a hypothesis‑driven mindset
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, growth, and operations teams to manage trade‑offs and inspire the team
• Own and evolve the design system, expanding patterns, components, and styles across all products

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience across mobile and web platforms
• Deep understanding of the technology behind digital products and ability to collaborate with engineering
• End‑to‑end product design approach including design thinking, strategy, user problem definition, information architecture, and service design
• Experience driving user research to uncover pain points and inform strategy
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence decisions across multiple teams
• Bonus: prior startup experience in B2B2C or B2C EdTech/Healthcare
• Bonus: experience with A/B testing or data‑driven product development
