Visual Designer

The Visual Designer creates engaging graphics and visual assets to support the church's mission across various platforms. They partner with the Communications Director to maintain brand consistency and execute visual concepts for ministries and events.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics and visual assets that support ACF’s mission, vision, ministries and communication priorities
• Develop visual identities and graphic systems for sermon series, initiatives, events and campaigns
• Design assets for social media, website, email, print, signage and other communication channels
• Take creative briefs from concept through final execution, ensuring scalability across formats
• Partner with the Communications Director to guide overall visual direction
• Maintain and strengthen ACF’s visual brand, creating templates and design systems for consistency
• Prepare final artwork and production‑ready files for print, digital, signage and screens
• Manage design projects, organize files and assets, and communicate proactively about timelines
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and stay current on design trends and tools

Requirements

• Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio of visual work
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign or equivalent design software
• Understanding of typography, layout, composition, color, hierarchy and visual storytelling
• Ability to translate ideas and direction into strong visual concepts
• Experience designing for digital, social, print, web, screens and physical environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to prepare production‑ready files
