Senior UX / Digital Product Designer (Mensch), Schwerpunkt FinTech

You will lead the end-to-end UX and product design process, from initial problem framing and discovery to final delivery and validation. You are responsible for creating high-quality UX concepts, facilitating workshops, and ensuring design decisions are effectively communicated to stakeholders and development teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the full UX and productâdesign process from discovery to delivery
- Structure ambiguous problems (problem framing, scope, hypotheses)
- Develop robust UX concepts for complex digital products
- Create information architectures, user journeys and endâtoâend flows
- Translate requirements into testable UX specifications
- Plan and conduct qualitative research (interviews, tests, workshops)
- Synthesize insights and produce actionable recommendations
- Design highâquality UI and design systems
- Facilitate workshops for project initiation, vision definition and prioritisation
- Advocate UX and design decisions to stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with development teams during implementation
- Independently organise complex project phases
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX/Product Design experience
- Several years of agency work with multiple clients
- Expertise in strategic UX concepts and endâtoâend product development
- Strong user research skills (qualitative and quantitative)
- Ability to create dataâdriven hypotheses and validate them
- High visual quality standards (layout, typography, design systems)
- Strategic understanding of digital strategy and service design
- Fluent German (minimum B2, ideally C1) and English
- Proficient with Figma
- Systemic thinking and structured problem analysis
- Selfâorganization, high responsibility and resilience in dynamic projects
- Interest in AI tools and AIâenabled workflows
- Experience with complex B2B or enterprise platforms (preferred)
- Data analysis experience (analytics, conversion optimization)
- Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of technical architecture (APIs, frontend structures)
- Experience building or scaling design systems
