Responsible for the end-to-end design process from problem definition to metric verification for new and existing features of the Whif service. Focuses on creating globally applicable UX/UI for AI character chatting services and maintaining visual consistency through GUI branding.
Responsibilities
- Define product problems and create concrete design solutions
- Design UI/UX and GUI details for the Whif platform, ensuring brand consistency
- Conduct user interviews and surveys to extract key product insights
- Collaborate with PM/PO and developers to iterate quickly and improve metrics
- Design for multiple cultural contexts, especially Japanese and other global markets
- Apply generative AI tools to enhance design efficiency
- Create microโinteractions and write UX copy that enhances user immersion
- Participate in dataโdriven experiments to validate design decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience, including IT services
- Proficiency with Figma and building design systems for earlyโstage products
- Collaboration with PM/PO and engineers to launch services and improve live metrics
- Strong problemโsolving ability from a user perspective
- Experience using AI tools in design and product work
- Familiarity with webโnovel, webโtoon, drama, game, or AIโcharacter chat content
- Experience designing platform services for creative ecosystems
- Basic understanding of generative AI (Prompt, LLM)
- UX writing and microโinteraction design experience
- Experience planning or participating in dataโdriven experiments (A/B testing, funnel analysis)
