Hybrid Full-time

Design modern, intuitive user interfaces and interactive prototypes for digital surgery and logistics software products. Maintain and evolve the existing design system while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global cloud platform context.

Responsibilities

  • Design modern, intuitive user interfaces for digital products from initial sketches to final screens
  • Prioritize usability, visual consistency and aesthetic quality to support clinical, surgical and logistic workflows
  • Maintain and evolve the existing design system, adding new components and patterns as needed
  • Create interactive prototypes in Figma for stakeholder alignment and development hand‑off
  • Participate in user testing and translate findings into concrete design solutions
  • Present design progress to stakeholders and coordinate regularly with team members
  • Collaborate closely with other designers, product owners and developers
  • Contribute to the global B. Braun Center of Competence UX/UI, sharing knowledge across physical and digital products

Requirements

  • Degree in Visual Design, UI‑Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design or related field
  • Several years of experience as a UI/Visual Designer, preferably in complex software and healthcare/medical‑technology
  • Proven expertise in visual design, typography, color, layout, visual hierarchy and consistent brand experiences
  • Experience designing data‑ and information‑intensive user interfaces
  • Knowledge of motion design and animation for user guidance (optional)
  • Service design experience is a plus
  • Proficient with design tools such as Figma
  • Ability to translate business goals into long‑term design projects
  • Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); good German skills desirable
