Hybrid Full-time Intern
The intern will conduct user research, create wireframes, and design high-fidelity UI mockups for web and mobile platforms. They will also build interactive prototypes, conduct usability testing, and contribute to the company's design system.
Responsibilities
- Assist in user research activities: interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data collection
- Analyze behavior using tools such as Hotjar, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Crazy Egg
- Create personas, customer journey maps, and user flows
- Conduct competitive analysis and propose improvement ideas
- Develop information architecture and low‑fi wireframes using paper, whiteboard, Whimsical or Balsamiq
- Produce mid‑fi wireframes and hi‑fi mockups in Figma for web and mobile (responsive design)
- Apply visual design principles: hierarchy, spacing, color theory, typography, grid systems
- Design micro‑interactions and motion details
- Build interactive prototypes with Figma or Protopie and support usability testing sessions
- Iterate designs based on feedback with the Product Manager
- Contribute to and follow the company Design System, suggesting new components when needed
- Prepare design hand‑off documentation: organized Figma files, clear layer naming, UI state descriptions, and design QA coordination
Requirements
- Final‑year or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Multimedia or related field (non‑design majors welcome)
- Portfolio with 1‑2 projects showing full design process
- Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Styles)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Whimsical, Miro (preferred)
- Basic understanding of UX principles, Gestalt, Heuristics, Fitts Law
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, Flexbox, Grid, responsive design, Apple HIG and Google Material (plus)
- Strong empathy, critical thinking, communication, growth mindset, attention to detail
