The Field and Design Engineer will lead the physical launch and modification of logistics buildings, including site layout design and construction project management. They are responsible for coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Project manage new facility launches and building modifications, including design development, milestone planning and budget estimation
- Lead layout design and feasibility studies for delivery stations
- Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure schedule, cost and quality targets are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve construction and design issues
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate decision‑making and documentation
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as an industrial, operations, manufacturing or project engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent business‑level Japanese (N1+)
- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL
- Experience managing third‑party vendors
