Onsite Full-time Senior
Lead and oversee all design-related activities for a major mixed-use development project in Armenia. Coordinate architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure technical delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall design leadership from concept through detailed design and construction phases
- Guide and coordinate architects, structural, MEP, interior, landscape and specialist consultants
- Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination to deliver integrated design solutions
- Engage with clients, contractors and external consultants to align design intent with project goals
- Ensure compliance with Armenian building codes, statutory requirements and industry best practices
- Review and approve design submissions, maintaining consistency and quality standards
- Collaborate with project management to align design activities with schedule and budget
- Identify and mitigate designârelated risks proactively
- Promote energyâefficient and environmentally responsible design solutions
- Support construction teams by addressing design queries and modifications
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of design management experience on largeâscale mixedâuse projects
- Bachelorâs degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field (Masterâs preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles, construction methods and regulations
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary design teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM platforms
- Understanding of Armenian construction regulations and approval processes
- Fluency in English (Armenian and/or Russian advantageous)
- Experience with sustainable design practices and green building certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.)
