senior UX designer

Responsible for designing the integral and uniform user experience for the BVID application used by police and partners. This includes conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and validating designs through usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Design the complete and consistent user experience for the identity verification application used by police and partners
• Gather user needs through qualitative and quantitative research, creating personas, journeys and service blueprints
• Produce solution concepts, wireframes, low‑ and high‑fidelity prototypes
• Apply WCAG standards to ensure accessibility
• Contribute to and evolve the Design System
• Validate prototypes with end‑users and stakeholders via usability testing
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, product owners and DevOps teams in a SAFe Agile environment
• Work onsite in Odijk at least two days per week and remotely the rest of the time

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of UX design experience, focusing on service and product design
• Proven experience with complex multi‑user and multi‑system projects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end UX work
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments (SAFe)
• Expertise with Figma and design systems
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
• Experience in public sector or governmental projects preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Product Design, Communication & Multimedia Design, Digital Design or related field
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
