The Design Manager coordinates technical studies for large-scale data center projects during both the commercial and execution phases. Key duties include managing external design offices, ensuring technical consistency of offers, and overseeing the transfer of projects to the construction team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate execution studies for allâtrade design of large dataâcenter projects
- Integrate health/safety, environmental, technical risk, contractual and financial constraints into study plans
- Organize study production, validation circuits, visa tracking and interface management
- Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure technical coherence of offers and price assembly
- Supervise internal and external study teams, propose optimisations and variants
- Prepare budgets, planning and preliminary cost estimates
- Manage technicalâeconomic studies and interface coordination
- Transfer completed dossiers to the construction team after project signing
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in TCE (allâtrade) studies or technical lots for building projects
- Engineering or university degree (e.g., Civil Engineering)
- Strong technical problemâsolving ability and innovative mindset
- Excellent organization, synthesis and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders
