Senior Product Designer

Onsite $40,000 - $60,000 Contract Senior
Lead the end-to-end industrial and UX design for new product categories, from initial concept and research to final production. Collaborate with R&D and Operations to ensure aesthetic quality and manufacturing feasibility for consumer electronics.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi‑disciplinary design teams to create product and ecosystem concepts
- Translate consumer insights into device design, accessories, and UI/UX solutions
- Develop design presentations, appearance models, prototypes, CMF, and verification artifacts
- Manage end‑to‑end design output from concept through manufacturing and launch
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and brand teams to ensure design quality and feasibility
- Oversee external agencies and ensure design consistency across all outputs
- Champion design‑centric thinking across the organization
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of industrial design experience, preferably in consumer electronics
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Industrial Design or related field
- Extensive portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Experience with 2D/3D design tools such as SolidWorks, Alias, Rhino, KeyShot, etc.
- Knowledge of CMF (Color, Material, Finish) and manufacturing processes
- Ability to conduct agile consumer research and trend analysis
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
- Understanding of sustainability and material technologies is a plus
