(Senior) UI/UX Designer (m/w/d) - App Design / fluege.de

The role involves designing user-centric app experiences for native iOS and Android platforms, from initial wireframes to final UI. It also requires conducting qualitative and quantitative research to drive data-based design decisions and maintaining the design system.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design userâcentered native app experiences for iOS and Android, from user journeys and wireframes to final UI
- Plan and conduct qualitative usability tests and quantitative A/B tests, translating findings into concrete design actions
- Maintain and evolve the design system, focusing on native components, variables, and platformâspecific UI blocks
- Ensure seamless design handoff with detailed specifications, annotations, and close collaboration with iOS/Android developers
- Contribute to dataâdriven design decisions using app analytics, user behavior, and business KPIs
- Collaborate closely with product, development, and marketing teams to align requirements, priorities, and user needs
Requirements
- Completed degree in UX/Interaction/Digital Design or comparable experience
- Proven experience designing native iOS and Android applications
- Strong knowledge of Apple HIG and Material Design 3
- Proficiency with Figma and designâsystem/component libraries
- Understanding of UXâKPIs, app analytics, and dataâdriven design decisions
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2 accessibility standards (advantageous)
- Experience with agile methodologies and optional AIâassisted design tools
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
