UI & Interaction Designer

The designer will establish a consistent design language and system across the company's website, mobile apps, and robot interfaces. They will collaborate with industrial design and engineering teams to create intuitive interaction paradigms for autonomous home robotics.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system for all products and touchpoints
- Design and evolve the public website and customerâfacing applications
- Create motion, animation, and microâinteractions that enhance usability and delight
- Prototype concepts quickly, gather feedback, and iterate based on technical constraints and user insights
- Design novel interaction paradigms for configuring and interacting with autonomous robots
- Partner with industrial design and engineering to ensure cohesive product experiences
- Apply visual and usability standards to internal businessâfacing tools used by operations and support teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing consumer software products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design and visual craftsmanship
- Deep understanding of userâcentered design, information architecture, and usability principles
- Experience creating and maintaining scalable design systems
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineering, industrial design, and operations teams
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Principle)
- Strong visual design skills including typography, layout, color, and spacing
- Rapid prototyping and iteration based on user feedback
- Excellent communication and crossâfunctional collaboration abilities
- Curiosity about home robotics and physicalâworld user experiences
