Own the end-to-end design of major product enhancements, transforming complex payroll workflows into intuitive and delightful user experiences. Conduct deep user research and collaborate with engineering and product leadership to define core product patterns and standards.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end design of major product enhancements from problem framing to shipped experience
- Conduct deep user research with payroll operators and platform partners
- Identify opportunities to simplify existing product patterns and improve usability
- Partner closely with engineering and product leaders to design intuitive surfaces and workflows
- Elevate visual and interaction design of existing product surfaces for cohesion and delight
- Prototype quickly, iterate based on feedback, and contribute to design standards
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to communicate platform enhancements
- Help define and maintain design rituals, tooling and processes across the organization
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of product/UX design experience on complex software or infrastructure products
- Strong portfolio showing systems thinking and elevated visual design
- Experience designing workflow‑driven or operational SaaS products (fintech, developer tools, enterprise platforms)
- Ability to conduct user research and translate insights into product improvements
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools and comfort working with engineering constraints
- Excellent communication and ability to articulate design decisions
