Senior Design Technologist, Creative X

You will architect and lead the development of infrastructure, tools, and intelligent systems to accelerate creative workflows across Amazon surfaces. This involves partnering with science teams to refine GenAI-powered creative processes and mentoring junior technologists.
Responsibilities
- Architect and own systems that enable rapid prototyping within production constraints
- Build and lead development of agentâbased systems that connect creative teams
- Partner with applied scientists to refine GenAIâpowered creative workflows
- Develop largeâscale prototypes and ship productionâready code
- Mentor junior Design Technologists and contribute to hiring assessments
- Drive process improvements and create tools that increase team output
- Impact customer experience for major product features and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, product managers, and research teams
Requirements
- 8+ years of frontâend technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience
- Experience creating prototypes or wireâframes for enterprise web applications
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design tools
- Strong track record of delivering inventive prototypes and leading technical direction
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and Git source control
- Experience designing or architecting reliable, scalable systems
- Proficiency in React and modern web technologies
- Engineering best practices (rendering, performance, client compatibility)
- Ability to mentor junior technologists and raise hiring standards
- Experience coordinating parallel workstreams and agentâbased systems
- Strong communication and crossâfunctional collaboration skills
