The role involves designing intuitive user interfaces for complex mission-management software and translating these designs into reusable QML components. You will collaborate with developers and product owners to build a consistent UI library and ensure technical feasibility.
Responsibilities
- Develop new UI concepts for complex technical software applications
- Redesign and improve existing UI elements and interaction flows
- Build and maintain a reusable UI library for software products
- Create wireframes, mockups and highâfidelity designs in Figma
- Own the visual design and QMLâbased implementation of UI components
- Produce reusable QML components for direct integration by C++/Qt developers
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility and quality
- Align design decisions with usability requirements, user needs and technical constraints
- Support the creation of a consistent UI and design system
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HMI, UI/UX and frontend workflows
Requirements
- Several years of UI/UX design experience for software products
- Strong understanding of userâcentered and interaction design
- Proficiency with Figma and componentâbased design systems
- Experience with Qt/QML or strong motivation to learn it
- Good knowledge of software development processes
- Excellent German and English communication skills
- Experience in aviation, defence, security or related highâtech domains
