Principal UX Designer, Amazon Advertiser UX

The Principal UX Designer will lead end-to-end design innovation for Amazon's advertising tools, transforming complex workflows into intuitive user experiences. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed design decisions and mentor emerging talent within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own UX of emerging advertising experiences with broad impact across Amazon
• Create user‑centered designs using market analysis, data, customer feedback, research, and technical constraints
• Produce user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new product initiatives
• Simplify complex processes into intuitive, elegant UI
• Establish and maintain UI patterns and specifications, working closely with developers
• Communicate design concepts clearly to diverse audiences and senior leadership
• Partner with product and design teams across Amazon
• Mentor up‑and‑coming talent
• Design and prototype using Figma

Requirements

• 10+ years of design experience
• Proven track record of innovative design leadership
• Strong understanding of web technologies and design best practices
• Experience translating complex technical requirements into seamless user experiences
• Ability to mentor and guide junior designers
