- Lead design projects for automated insulin dosing systems and data management platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ensure design outputs meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards while advocating for user needs across mobile and web platforms.
Requirements
- Requires 5+ years of experience in product or interaction design with a strong portfolio demonstrating mobile and responsive web solutions. Candidates must have experience designing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and working with hardware-software interactions.

Tidepool is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to making diabetes data more accessible, actionable, and meaningful for people with diabetes, their care teams, and researchers through our open source software which includes: Tidepool Web, Tidepool Uploader, and Tidepool Mobile. Tidepool Loop is a project to build and support an FDA-regulated version of Loop, to be available in the OS App Store, intended to work with commercially available insulin pumps and CGMs. Tidepool Loop is not currently available for use.
