Associate, Mechatronics Design Engineering (Industrial Automation Engineer) - 12 months contract

The associate will assist in the design, testing, and development of integrated mechanical, electrical, and software systems for production lines. They are responsible for specifying and building manufacturing equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, GxP regulations, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with other departments to specify, design, procure and build manufacturing equipment for the production lines
- Experience in SolidWorks modelling and drawing
- Ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards
- Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation
- Ensure rigorous quality control and complete all required training
- Designing and implementing control systems for automation
- Hands-on experience with hardware integration of sensors, actuators, and mechanical components
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in designing high precision, automated production equipment
- Proficient in SolidWorks and PDM
- Automation Engineers or Industrial Automation Engineers background, or Mechatronics background is considered highly beneficial
- Commitment to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
