Hardware Design Manager

The Hardware Design Manager will lead end-to-end product launches, managing the entire process from initial concept and design to factory production. They will oversee vendor relationships, maintain project timelines, and manage cost and margin tradeoffs to ensure successful product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end launches for physical products, from concept to shelf
- Lead the design process — specs, colorways, materials, and packaging, start to finish
- Build and manage vendor relationships, negotiating timelines and terms that keep projects on track
- Coordinate sample cycles and manage revisions until designs are launch-ready
- Own cost and margin tradeoffs with direct P&L impact
Requirements
- 3+ years in project or product management
- Track record juggling multiple projects and vendors at once
- Sharp organizational instincts and a bias for hitting timelines
- A communicator who can rally design, ops, and marketing around a decision and keep things moving
- Background in DTC, startups, or physical product launches
