UX / UI Designer

You will develop user-centered UX concepts and intuitive UI designs for web and AI applications from initial idea to implementation. Additionally, you will conduct usability tests, create prototypes, and collaborate closely with product owners and developers to ensure design consistency.

Responsibilities

• Developing thorough UX concepts and high-quality, user-centered UI designs for modern web applications - from the first idea to implementation
• Planning, moderating and evaluating usability tests, deriving concrete optimization measures and continuously integrating user feedback into the design process
• Creating wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes and working closely with product owners, developers and other departments
• Designing intuitive interactions, clear information architectures and efficient workflows that delight users throughout their entire user journey
• Contributing to the further development of design systems, components and design guidelines and ensuring a consistent user experience across all applications
• Presenting and justifying design decisions in a understandable way to internal teams and stakeholders and accompanying the technical implementation together with the development team

Requirements

• Completed studies in UX Design, Interaction Design, Media Informatics or a comparable education
• At least one year of practical experience in UX/UI Design as well as in-depth knowledge of Design Thinking and User-Centered Design
• Very good knowledge of design and prototyping tools, especially Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• First practical experience in the use of KI-supported tools and technologies within the design process
• Structured, goal-oriented and independent working method as well as the ability to coordinate the technical feasibility of designs closely with development
• High degree of creativity, initiative and technical understanding as well as very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills (at least B2)
