Senior Product Designer

Lead end-to-end design efforts for complex B2B payment products, including greenfield projects and existing gateway redesigns. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate user insights into scalable, intuitive design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end experiences: Create journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that reflect both user needs and business goals
• Plan and conduct user research, including internal usability testing and external validation with partners and merchants
• Build and maintain design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across NMI's products
• Benchmark designs against competitors in the space and identify opportunities for improvement
• Use AI tools as a core part of your design and research workflow
• Contribute to adjacent initiatives such as updating design-driven materials for customer engagement and supporting conference planning

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing B2B digital products and systems
• Familiarity with financial products, APIs, or transaction systems
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and great communication skills
• Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
• Proficiency in Figma and experience building and maintaining design systems
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and their applications in general and regulated payment workflows
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI tools to speed up design, prototyping, or research work
