Head of Design

You are creatively responsible for the Garcia Men collection, overseeing the design process from concept to final product. You will collaborate closely with the Division Manager, buying, and product development teams to ensure a cohesive and commercially successful collection.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of the Men's collection and continuous improvement of the collection
• Spotting inspiration through social media, trade literature, shopping trips, and fairs
• Following developments in the field of CSR and sustainability
• Intensive collaboration with buying and product development to achieve the best end product
• Thinking about patterns, fits, and quality
• Collaboration with marketing for the benefit of the collection shoots 360

Requirements

• HBO work- and think level, preferably in the direction of fashion or design
• Experience in menswear
• At least 8-10 years of experience as a designer and several years as a senior designer within a fashion brand
• Strong team player who can work well in a dynamic environment
• Plan-oriented, goal-oriented, and able to work with deadlines
• Good command of Dutch and English

• Gross salary between €4,555 and €6,162 based on 38 hours, depending on knowledge and experience
