Senior Product Designer (m/w)
Rib Software 🇩🇪 Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
The role involves transforming user needs into intuitive user interfaces through the entire design process from analysis to implementation. You will collaborate with product managers and developers to create scalable designs using design systems and Lean UX principles.
Responsibilities
- Take on design tasks from wireframes to implementation and work closely with the design system team to design consistent and scalable designs
- Apply Lean UX principles to improve design iteratively through feedback and data
- Actively participate in workshops and ensure that solutions meet both business requirements and user needs
- Conduct user research and benefit from the knowledge transfer of experienced team members to bring valuable insights directly into design decisions
- Plan and conduct usability tests, use prototypes for feedback, and optimize user flows to improve the user experience
- Analyze event tracking data with the product team, identify relevant behavior patterns, and use these insights to optimize user flows and design elements
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to unify design goals with business goals
- Communicate design ideas and insights within teams so that they can be seamlessly integrated into the development process
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Designer
- Strong portfolio that showcases design solutions and their impact
- Experience with Lean UX methods and agile development processes
- Knowledge and experience with design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Good knowledge of Figma
- Familiarity with Dovetail or similar tools for organizing and analyzing user research data
- Experience with usability testing, preferably with tools like Maze or similar platforms
- Familiarity with event tracking data and the ability to effectively integrate data insights into the design process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective collaboration in cross-functional teams
- Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
