Symbiotic is a company that provides infrastructure for collateral markets, enabling new categories of on-chain finance applications. They are looking for a product designer to lead the product design function and collaborate with leadership, engineering, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Leading the product design function
- Collaborating with leadership, engineering, and marketing teams
- Designing the full user journey for Symbiotic's product stack
- Surfacing risk, exposure, and returns to users
- Conducting user research
- Partnering with engineering to define problems and design within protocol constraints
Requirements
- Deep on-chain fluency
- Working understanding of wallets, approvals, signing, gas, transaction lifecycle, and chain latency
- Experience shipping a DeFi product to real users
- Portfolio showing end-to-end product work
- Ability to operate autonomously in fast-moving environments
- Excellent cross-functional communication
- Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping workflows
