Founding Product Designer

The Founding Product Designer will lead the end-to-end design of a clinical platform and establish the company's first design system and visual identity. They will collaborate with engineering and clinicians to create high-stakes user experiences for Body AI products across healthcare, sports, and retail.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for a new clinical platform, encompassing patient onboarding, guided exercise sessions, real-time movement feedback, and post-session check-ins
• Develop Fit:Match's first design system, beginning with the clinical product and extending to Quadrascan and the broader product portfolio
• Establish the company's brand and visual identity in collaboration with senior leadership
• Define the standard for clinical-grade user experience in a product that bridges hospital and home settings
• Collaborate directly with the engineering team to specify, prototype, and ship product experiences as an embedded member of the development process
• Partner with clinicians and patients throughout research and validation cycles
• Make complex health data legible
• Build and lead a design team as the function matures

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience
• A portfolio demonstrating depth in mobile-first product design, particularly on iOS, with clear ownership of end-to-end user flows
• Experience designing for regulated, safety-critical, or measurement-critical domains; healthcare experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience building or leading at least one design system from inception, beyond contributing to an established system
• The ability to operate independently as a sole designer, exercising sound judgment with incomplete information
• Strong product judgment complementing design craft, including the ability to evaluate features on the basis of user impact as well as visual coherence
