Product Designer (w/m/d) eCommerce

The role involves analyzing the e-commerce shop to identify purchase hurdles and creating user-centered concepts and prototypes to optimize the shopping experience. The designer will conduct user interviews and collaborate closely with developers to implement and validate new features.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of our online shop to identify obstacles in the purchasing process and derive targeted optimizations
- Conception of solutions such as smart product configurators that make decisions easier for customers
- Conducting user interviews and direct collection of customer feedback
- Independent creation of concrete mockups and prototypes that can be implemented directly by the development team
Requirements
- User-centered thinking
- Practical experience in design (Figma, prototypes, design systems) or a technical background with understanding of modern frontend stacks
- Ability to write specifications that software developers can work with without questions
- Experience with experiment-driven work and modern AI tools
