Senior Product Designer

The role involves crafting end-to-end UI/UX for customer and driver experiences to improve booking completion and reduce friction. The designer will also drive the adoption of a scalable design system and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Craft the UI/UX for Angkas’ customer and driver experiences, ensuring a cohesive, intuitive, and scalable product experience across key journeys
• Execute an end-to-end product design for key initiatives from discovery and definition to prototyping, validation, and final UI delivery
• Design and refine high-frequency flows (e.g., onboarding, booking, payments, support), ensuring clarity, consistency, and ease-of-use across all touchpoints
• Simplify complex operational and marketplace constraints into intuitive user flows and interaction models for both customers and drivers
• Drive the creation and adoption of design patterns and reusable components through Angkas’ design system, improving speed, quality, and consistency across teams
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data/Analytics, Marketing, and Ops to align on problem framing, validate solutions, and measure impact post-launch

Requirements

• Believe great product design shapes behavior and emotion
• See the user as the hero, and the product as their partner
• Comfortable talking about ethnographic research and earning motivations as well as pixels and motion curves
• Lead through influence: align Product, Engineering, Ops, and stakeholders with strong rationale, prototypes, and data
• Challenge transactional experiences and know how to turn them into powerful journeys
• Outcome-driven and iterative, using qualitative feedback and metrics to validate ideas, learn quickly, and improve what ships
